Hoek van Holland is within easy reach by public transport, both by bus and train.
Train
From Rotterdam:
From Rotterdam there is a train to the Hoek van Holland Port twice per hour. In the summer period the train continuous for Hoek van Holland Beach station. On summer days you can use the Boulevard train to get to the beach, see Boulevard train.
Bus
From The Hague:
At The Hague Central you can take the tram (for example Randstadrail 4) and get out at the Leyenburg stop. At the Leyenburg stop you change to bus 35. Bus 35 follows the Loosduinen, Monster, ’s-Gravenzande route and ends in Hoek van Holland.
From Delft:
At station Delft you can take bus 128 in the direction of Naaldwijk. In Naaldwijk (Verdilaan stop) you change to bus 31 in the direction of The Hague. This bus shall stop in ’s-Gravenzande (Naaldwijkseweg stop). Here you change to bus 35 in the direction of Hoek van Holland.
It is quicker to take the train from Delft to Hoek van Holland (Delft in the direction of Rotterdam, change at Schiedam for the regional rail to Hoek van Holland).
