Near Hoek van Holland several cycling routes have been marked, varying from 9 to 40 kilometres. The VVV (Tourist Agency) provides these free of charge.

Cycling route Hoek van Holland, about 9 km, starts at Camping Hoek van Holland.

Skate/cycling route alongside the waterway, about 10 km, starts at the VVV (Tourist Agency).

Cycling route Hoek van Holland, about 17 km, starts at Camping Hoek van Holland.

Agricultural route, about 40 km, starts at the VVV (Tourist Agency); from Hoek van Holland to Monster, Poeldijk, Wateringen, Naaldwijk and back to Hoek van Holland.

Dune/Garden route, about 40 km; from Hoek van Holland to Ter Heijde, Kijkduin, Monster, ’s-Gravenzande, Naaldwijk and back to Hoek van Holland.

 

From Hoek van Holland you can also cycle to Rotterdam alongside the New Waterway: until Maassluis via the LF1a North Sea route, then via the LF 12a Maas and Vesting route to Vlaardingen and from there to Rotterdam via the LF11a Prinsenroute.

 

Hoek van Holland is a service area in the long-distance cycling route LF1. The LF1, together with the LF10 Waddenzee route is the Dutch part of the international North Sea Cycling route. This continuous to Germany, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Scotland and England and has an overall length of about 6,000 km.
